Morocco in the summer!

Great photos from my trip to Morocco this summer, a spontaneous moment of kids in a courtyard while I shot from inside the room.  NO LIGHT is like available light and seizing the moment!

I was determined to get in American Photography 28.  I looked for images that were outside the box, that stood on their own.  What is funny is that I didn't think I won anything-the award was given back on April.  Recently, I got an email that had a subject line that said "AP 28 winners"  so I searched through my emails to discover I had been seleced as one of the Chosen.  Here is the photo, and glad my instincts on this was were on target. I love it.

Life is full!

Today I got so excited about a few new projects I am working on and started working on them, then my 10 year old called to ask if I was coming to her last concert of elementary school.  Of course!  My mind racing about all the new things I am up to-networking with some great women, personal projects, plans for overseas trip to France and Morocco this summer-what kind of shooting I can do there that inspires me!  Work on blog, work on updating all websites/links, clean the house, put the groceries away, take a shower (yeah right!), prepare lesson for Girls on the Run tomorrow, put 2 new galleries together to present to prospect/clients, finish retouching projects - sending it off to my intern-just no time to draw a path today! What is funny is I never feel I do enough and always have to check in with others for a reality check!  These days I am learning to have more balance-work, me, family and really loving it.  I try to trust my intuitions more and go where the flow brings me.  More to come, gotta run!
